Obituary for Ann Sealock
Ann Evelyn Sealock peacefully passed from this life on February 25, 2013, at the age of 88 in Houston, Texas. Ann was born June 20, 1925 in Honey Creek, Iowa, to Adolph Leitzke and Frances 'Peg' McGuinty Leitzke. The family then moved to Neola, Iowa where she graduated from Neola High School in 1942. Ann married Leo Sealock October 12, 1946. They were happily married for 53 years. Ann chose a career in insurance and worked at The Western Insurance Company in Omaha until her retirement. While in Iowa she, and her husband socialized at the American Legion and VFW. As part of these activities, Ann served as a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. Ann spent most of her life in Council Bluffs, Iowa moving to Houston Texas in 2007 to live with her daughter, Adena. She was a wonderful person, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved sports and particularly liked watching baseball and basketball. She was an avid card player spending many hours playing Skipbo whenever she had the opportunity. Ann is survived by her two children, Adena Sealock of Houston, TX and John Sealock of West Richland, WA; daughter-in-law Carol Sealock of West Richland, WA; granddaughter Jaime Sealock Olsen and her husband Shane of Argyle, TX; granddaughter-in-law Anitra Sealock, and great grandchildren Kristin and Dustin Sealock, all of West Richland, WA. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Adolph and Peg Leitzke; husband Leo Sealock; grandson Jacen Sealock; and son-in-law Gene Comer.
Cemetery: Burial will follow at the Neola Township Cemetery.
