BettyLou (Swanger) McClellan, age 76, of Council Bluffs, passed away April 26, 2010 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. BettyLou was born February 8, 1934 in Council Bluffs to Henry S. and Meta Louise (Schulz) Christiansen who preceded her in death along with her brother Franklin Boardman.
She is survived by her children; Edmund Swanger, Paula Hurlbert and husband Gary, Becky Garges and husband Gary, Donald C. Swanger, Andrea Price and husband Ron; grandchildren Chris Swanger, Jamie Swanger, Ronnie Garges, Faith Martin, Angi Garges, Corey Garges, and Kayla McCabe; Cameo Swanger and eight other great-grandchildren; siblings Arlene Merksick, Nadine Frauenholtz, Fern Snipes, Kenneth Boardman, JoAnn Petrosky, and Paul Christiansen
