Obituary for Carol M. Houser
Carol M. Houser, age 75, of Council Bluffs passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Risen Son Christian Village.
Carol was born on April 19, 1946 in Joliet, Illinois to the late Howard and Addie (Hamilton) Showers. Carol worked as a Clerk for Mutual of Omaha for 30 years, retiring in 1995. Carol married Jerry Houser on April 27, 1968.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Houser in 2009; brother, Howard Showers Jr.
Carol is survived by 2 daughters, Theresa and Billy Baird; Pamela and Alan McKeeman; 4 grandchildren, Kala Bramman, Max Baird, Leland McKeeman, Dominick McKeeman; sister, Evelyn Coleman all of Council Bluffs; nephews, Clifton and Nancy Coleman of Omaha; Roy and Jennifer Coleman of Des Moines; several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service on Wednesday at 2:00PM at Maher Funeral Home. Visitation with family one hour prior to the service. Burial on Thursday at 1:00PM at Highland Cemetery in Mystic, Iowa. Family will direct memorials.
