Charles E. Head, 75 of Council Bluffs, passed away March 26 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Charles was born February 19, 1934 in Council Bluffs to Chester and Ruby (Damon) Head. Charles work for the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad for 44 years retiring as a boxcarman.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cathene in 2004. He is survived by his children Candi Novotny, Penny Heltzer, Andrew Freeman, Timothy Head and Jennie Veldhouse. 20 grandchildren and 27 greatgrandchildren.
