Obituary for Charlotte D. (Billings) Carper
Charlotte D. (Billings) Carper, age 88, of Council Bluffs formerly of Shenandoah and Red Oak, Iowa, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
Charlotte was born on September 25, 1933 in Corydon, Iowa to the late Roger and Clara (Sullivan) Billings. Charlotte was united in marriage to Louis Dean Carper on November 23, 1951. Over the years, Charlotte worked in the Pentagon, as a school Secretary and retired in 1995 as a bank teller for City National Bank in Shenandoah, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Louis Dean Carper in 2014.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Cindy and Art Sellers; Angie Clark; son, Jeff and Barb Carper; 6 grandchildren, Aaron Sellers; Eric and Liz Sellers; Andrew Carper; Tonya Dunkeson; Zoie Dunkeson and Cole Dunkeson; 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service on Friday at 11:00AM at Maher Funeral Home. Visitation with family One hour prior to the service. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, Iowa. Family will direct memorials.
