Obituary for Clifford Leroy Osbahr
Clifford Cliff Leroy Osbahr, age 86, of Council Bluffs, IA passed away March 7, 2010 at Midlands Living Center.

Cliff was born October 19, 1923 in Persia, Iowa to the late Emil and Minnie (Meves) Osbahr.

Cliff was a decorated WWII Veteran of the 334th Infantry. He held the rank of Sgt. He was wounded in action in Germany on January 31, 1945. He was decorated with American Theater Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with three Bronzes Battle Stars, Victory Medal, two Overseas Service Bars, Good Conduct Medal and a Purple Heart Medal. He worked as a farmer in Persia then went to work for Blue Star Food until he retired in 1987.

Cliff was preceded in death by his son: Clifford Genie Eugene Osbahr(March 31, 2006), brothers Penny and Arnie, sisters Lotus and Wilma.

Cliff is survived by his wife of 62 years Jackie (Martens) Osbahr, children: Linda (Vern) Goodman, Larry Osbahr, Gary (Teresa) Osbahr, and Lisa (Kevin) Shew, grandchildren Lori (Scott) Clarkson, Beth (Tony) Drueke, Teresa Goodman, Jessica, Colton, Carlee and Brandon Shew, Jeremy (Nikole) Cross, Dustin (Kortni) Cross and Jesse Cross, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews family and friends

Memorials:
Memorials to the family.

Cemetery:
Interment to follow at Valley View Cemetery in Persia, IA with military rites provided by VFW Post 6256 and American Legion O'Hara Seeley Post.

Visitation:
Visitation will be held 6-8pm; Thursday at Maher~Livingston Funeral Home.

Service:
Funeral service will be held 10am; Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Hollers officiating.
