Dannie Bruce Smith, age 57, of Honey Creek, passed away March 23, 2010 at Creighton University Hospital. Dan was born June 4, 1952 in Missouri Valley, IA to LaVern Bub and Alice (McElderry) Smith.
Dan was an avid hunter who shared his passion with his kids and grandkids. The deer and turkey population are now a little safer.
He is preceded in death by his son Rusty and his father LaVern Bub Smith.
Dan is survived by his wife JoAnn (Arrick) Smith; children Adam Smith and wife Jennifer, Amy Leonard and husband Todd; grandchildren Jaxson Smith-Sellick and Nolan Leonard; mother Alice Wede; siblings Linda Winchester, Mike Smith, Karen Brockman, Julie Meade, and Lisa Mickey.
