Obituary for Darrel L. Pruett
Darrel L. Pruett, age 82 years, and lifelong resident of Council Bluffs, passed away May 20, 2021, at Bethany Lutheran Home.
Darrel was born June 3, 1938, in Council Bluffs, to the late Pat and Vidie Pruett. He worked many years at Hecht Nursery. Darrel enjoyed gardening, riding his bike and having coffee with friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary; brothers Leonard and Dean; sisters Betty and Alice.
Survived by daughter Cheryl Rheam; grandchildren Amy, Jennifer, Lonnie and Vicky; great grandchildren; nieces Deena and Debra; great neighbors Linda Griffis and kids, Mike Franks; other loving family and friends.
Visitation Monday 5-7 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday 11:00 a.m., all at Maher Funeral Home. Burial at Fairview Cemetery in Council Bluffs. Memorials will be directed by the family.
