Obituary for Dollie Jane Mabbitt
Dollie Jane Mabbitt, 85 of Council Bluffs, passed away August 27, 2012 at Bethany Lutheran Home. She was born October 8, 1926 in Council Bluffs to William and Bertha (Neve) Heywood who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband Glenn; son Ronald; sisters Hazel and Ruth; brothers Bill and Chuck. Dollie is survived by her children Glenn, Sr. and his wife Diana; Jerry and his wife Peg; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 10 great great-grandchildren; many brothers and sisters; and also many nieces and nephews. Dollie worked for Super Value as a meat wrapper for over 40 years, she also belonged to Woman Business Association for over 50 years. She enjoyed bowling and was on numerous leagues and enjoyed singing in the Old Towne Choir. But most of all spending time with her family and friends for that was very important to her.

Cemetery:
Interment will be in Garner Township Cemetery.
