Obituary for Donna Rae (Maude) Lockard
Donna Rae (Franks) Lockard, (Maude) 78 of Council Bluffs, passed away July 24, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Council Bluffs. Donna was born November 13, 1935 in Council Bluffs to Ray and Irene (Jacks) Franks, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband of 63 years William T. Lockard (2014), sons William R. Lockard (2007) and Dennis L. Lockard (2014), daughters Carolyn S. Nielsen (2011) and Patricia I. Fichter (1997). Donna is survived by her son John and wife Francine Lockard of Omaha; daughter Sandra and husband Danny Vincent, Sr. of Council Bluffs; sons in law Steve Fichter and William Nielsen; daughter in law Wendy Lockard; sisters Elaine Williams, Diane Franks; brother Larry Franks: 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Maude was not one to hold her opinion to herself, or to avoid using a few choice words in doing so. But, she loved her family unconditionally no matter what. At the end, she was tired and heartbroken over her losses and ready to be reunited with her husband and kids. We will miss you every day until we see you again. Love, all of us.
Cemetery: Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery
