Obituary for Ernest W. Schroder
Ernest W. Schroder, age 82, of Omaha, passed away May 6, 2019 at UNMC.
Ernie was born November 23, 1936 in Honey Creek, Iowa to the late Chester and Alta (Wimer) Schroder. Ernie served his country in the US Army. He married Rosalie Johnson on November 25, 1957. Ernie worked as a Self-Employed Contractor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie in 2009; and brother, Arnold Schroder.
Survivors included 2 sons, Andy and Maree Schroder, Doug Schroder and Nebraska State Senator, Sara Howard, all of Omaha; 3 grandchildren, Evan, Callan and Ashton; longtime partner Nancy Strong, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
