Obituary for James “Jim” A. Mathews, Jr.
Jim was a serviceman for the Council Bluffs Water Works for several years. He was a former resident of Atlantic, Iowa. He also served in the National Guard. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ralph Mathews and sister Donna Miller. Jim will be sadly missed by his daughters: Kimberly Teachey and husband Maurice of North Carolina, Linda Showers and husband Greg of Council Bluffs, and Lori Mahan and husband Greg of Missouri, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sister Betty Chapman, sister-in-law Audrey Mathews, brother-in-law Alfred “Sonny” Miller, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Service: Graveside service to follow visitation at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
