Obituary for Jean Marie McVay
Jean (Ayers) McVay, 49 of Omaha, NE passed away April 10, 2012 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. Jean was born in Hastings, Nebraska April 27, 1962 to Fred and Pat Ayers. She grew up in Schuyler, NE. Jean obtained her BS in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Kearney and Masters in Health Care Administration from College of St. Francis. Jean was a compassionate, fierce proponent for Elder Care and loved her job as the Administrator of Bethany Lutheran Nursing Home in Council Bluffs, IA. Even more important was her passion for life, love and family. She is survived by her children Molly and Aaron McVay, and her Life Partner of 15 years Cheryl Lindly. She is also survived by Mother, Patricia Ayers of Schuyler, NE, sister Mary Steinberger and her husband Allan of David City, NE and brother Niles Ayers and wife Star of Holdrege, NE and many special nieces and nephews. Also survived by Dan and Kathy Penkert of Council Bluffs, IA and Sue Wulf of Blair, NE, the best friends in the world.

Cemetery:
Gravesite services at 1:00 P.M. in Schuyler, NE at Holy Cross Cemetery.
