Jeffery Alexander, age 54, of Council Bluffs, IA., passed away at home on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
Jeffery was born on November 28, 1969, in Kansas City, Missouri to Sandi Bolte and late Robert Alexander. Jeff graduated from Underwood High School in 1988. Jeff was a printer most recently for American Games, he had worked for the Omaha World Herald, as well as The Daily Union in Junction City, Kansas. His position at The Daily Union was production Manager which he held diligently for 7 years, before coming back to Council Bluffs. Jeff was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and got to enjoy watching them win Super Bowl LVIII. He was able to spend time with his two grandsons and family over the last few weeks enjoying the things that brought him joy.
Jeff is survived by his mother Sandi (James) Bolte (Council Bluffs, Iowa); daughters Nicole Alexnder (Council Bluffs, Iowa), and Brittany (Mike Potter) Alexander; grandsons 9-year-old Bryden Alexander and 1 ½ -month-old Wesley Potter; sister Sue (Randy) Teschner (Colorado Springs, Colorado); brother Bill (Debbie) Alexander (Joplin, Missouri); as well as many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Robert Alexander; brother Curt Bolte, and maternal grandparents Norval and Arlene Sams.
In accordance with his wishes, Jeffrey was cremated, there will be a memorial visitation on Saturday February 24, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Maher Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
