Obituary for Karen K. Johnson
Karen K. Johnson (Mintun), age 69, passed away July 7, 2010.

Karen was born July 20, 1940 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to the late Robert Mintun and Bernice (Thallas) Heistand. She was a graduate of T.J. High School class of 1958. She worked as an executive secretary at Bell Federal Credit Union Omaha for many years, Omaha Federal Building in childcare center, and most recently was a grandma at Childrens Square.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Frank Heistand, infant brother Robert Mintun, stepbrother Francis Heistand, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Survivors include daughter Suzi (Saar) Aikman, grandsons Josh and wife Jacequelyn, Nathan (Ashley), Tyler and Trevor, great-grandchildren Adam and Reagan and one on the way, host of other family and friends.

Memorials to the family.

Cemetery:
Private family inurnment will be held at later date in Roselawn Cemetery in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Visitation:
Visitation will be held from 5-6pm, Friday at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home.

Service:
Funeral service 6pm, Friday at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home
