LaVern Irene Brockman, age 87, formerly of Treynor, passed away April 22, 2009 at Risen Son Christian Village. LaVern was born January 8, 1922 in Lindsay, NE to Charlie and Viola (Marshall) Johnson. LaVern spent her lifetime making a home for her husband and children.
LaVern is preceded in death by her husband Harold Brockman (1995); sisters Mary Hunt and Margerite Allen; brothers Wesley and Raymond Johnson.
She is survived by children Carol and Sam Garcia, Blanche and Bob Prine, Donna and Tim Epperson, Jean Mayfield, Harold and Carol Brockman, Dean and Bobbie Brockman; 13 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild;
sisters Vera Kruger, Ella and Bud Klug, Dorothy and Merle Behmer; brothers Gene Johnson, Edward and Doris Johnson.
