Obituary for Larry D. Wilcoxen, Sr.
Larry Dean Wilcoxen, Sr., age 68, of Council Bluffs, passed away June 18, 2010.
Larry was born in Council Bluffs on May 24, 1942. He lived all of his life in the Council Bluffs and Bentley area. He married Charlotte M. Nelson on June 6, 1960 at Broadway United Methodist Church. He was a hard working man all of his life and retired from Ready Mix Concrete Company in 2002 after 331/2 year. He loved his family and home very much. He worked on his home as a hobby and enjoyed working in his yard and feeding the birds. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was loved by all and will be missed greatly.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Margaret (Bonham) Wilcoxen, brother Troy Wilcoxen, Jr. sister Patty Umbal and Mary Snipes.
Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlotte M. Wilcoxen, three sons: Larry D. Wilcoxen, Jr. and wife Connie, Ronald Wilcoxen, Sr. and fianc Ann Marie Lundquist, and Shane Wilcoxen and wife Lacey, daughter Mary Jane Way and husband William, 15 grandchildren: Tommy, Terry, Tony, Tiffany, Renae, Bryndann, Ron, Mike, Tamara, Danny, Jeanna, Caleb, Miranda, Gabrial, Gidion, eight great-grandchildren Curtis, Brennan, John, Emily, Avery, Teagan, Landon, Alex, daughter-in-law: Melissa Wilcoxen, five brothers: Lloyd Wilcoxen and wife Bonnie, Fred Wilcoxen and wife Paulette, Ronald Wilcoxen and wife Diane, Gary Wilcoxen and wife Karen and David Wilcoxen and wife Christy, five sisters: Opal Carter, Wyonia Clark, Karen Skow and husband Duane, Sharon Durham and husband Bumper and Tina Jensen and husband Bruce, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation: Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8pm at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home.
Service: Graveside services will be 11:30am, Tuesday at Garner Township Cemetery.
