Larry Wheeler, age 67, of Council Bluffs, passed away February 15, 2009 at his home. Larry was born January 15, 1942 in Winterset, IA to Harley Newton Wheeler and wife Ada Glee Shacklee. Larry was a 1960 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. He retired after 25 years of employment with Doll Distributing and after 5 years with Ameristar Casino.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Ada and Harley Wheeler.
He is survived by his wife Glenda; daughters Veronica Wells and husband Daryl, Michelle Wheeler and husband Mike; son Chad Wheeler; eleven grandchildren; sister Voni Jensen and husband Phil; and two nephews.
