Lucille Marie Meadows, 90 of Council Bluffs passed away June 4, 2010. She was born May 3, 1920 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Chris and Dollie (Johnson) Thomsen. Lucille graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1937 and married Virgil Meadows on November 28, 1942. Throughout her life Lucille used her many talents as she was a school teacher in rural Pottawattamie County, a dental assistant for Dr. J. J. Connolly and a cashier in the business office at Mercy Hospital. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Dorcas Circle, Trailblazers, and the Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Ph
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil, daughter Darlene Reynolds, grandson Joshua Meadows and sister Leora Anderson. She is survived by her 2 sisters Donna Mae & Everette Fountain, Dortha Lea & Bernard McIntosh. Son in law Gary Reynolds and many nieces, nephews and friends.
