Obituary for Lyle Edward Hinkel
Lyle Edward Hinkel, age 85, of Council Bluffs, passed away August 9, 2015 at his home. He was born February 5, 1930 in Pisgah, IA to John and Gilma (Kline) Hinkel; who preceded him in death. Lyle worked as a railroad switchman.
In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his sons Gary and Paul; his first wife Bonnie and his second wife Ethel; brother Earl and sister Emma.
Lyle is survived by his children Cynthia Davis, Carol Sue Van Gastel and husband Stewart, Theresa Price and husband Joe, Patricia Provo and husband Donovan, Wayne Hinkel, and Donna Warren; Step-children Gladys Lane and husband Ken, Ray Pedersen and wife Judy, Norman Pedersen and wife Sandy, Les Pedersen, and Steve Pedersen; Twenty-eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Ruby Hinkel; brothers Kermit Hinkel and wife Wanda, Larry Hinkel and wife Tina, sister Cleona Wilson and husband Bud, and sister-in-law Bonnie Hinkel; many nieces and nephews.
