Obituary for Martha S. Soliz
Martha S. Soliz, age 93, of Omaha, passed away April 1, 2014 at NE Skilled Nursing. Martha was born on January 2, 1921 in Tom Green County, TX to Napoleon and Inez Garcia Sevier who preceded her in death. On May 10, 1941 she was united in marriage to John Soliz in San Angelio, TX and to this union five children were born. Martha was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who made a loving home for her family. Sadly, John passed away December 20, 1990. Martha also was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Omaha. Martha is survived by her children; John F. Soliz and wife Judith of Omaha, Terry Velasquez and husband Ray of Fairmont, NE, Adelina (Della) Jacobs and husband Bob, Betty Soliz and her son Jamil K. Jones, and Hilda Ginzkey and husband John, all of Omaha; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; brother Victor Sevier and wife Celia, sister Tilly Coronado, sister in law Belia Sevier; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers Silvano and L.G. Sevier.

Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha, NE.
