Obituary for Mary Jean Tilley
Mary Jean Tilley, age 82 of Council Bluffs, passed away November 10, 2016 at Longview Home in Missouri Valley. Mary was born on May 21, 1934 in Hastings, IA to George and Ina (Kelley) Miller, who preceded her in death. She lived most of her life in Council Bluffs and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1952 Mary was a loving mother and grandmother who will be fondly remembered and sadly missed especially by her toodlin’ buddy Amy. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sons Steven and Larry, four brothers and two sisters. Mary is survived by her children John (Tami), Tim, Lisa VanStratten (Dale), and David; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Patricia Heisser and Sharon Stokes; brother Jim Miller.
