Maxine Audrey Hayes, age 88, of Council Bluffs, passed away August 23, 2010 at Mercy Hospital. Maxine was born August 20, 1922 in Mondamin, IA to Richard and Bessie (Jobe) Weldon who preceded her in death. She worked as a professional caregiver.
She is also preceded in death by her husband Edwin (Jack) Hayes.
Maxine is survived by her son Lee Beaman; grandchildren Shane Beaman and wife Stacey, Tony Beaman and wife Shauna Heath-Beaman , Robyn Christensen and Rhonda Phillips; several great-grandchildren; sister Mildred (Sis) Baxter; niece Judy Kannedy; nephews Noonie Baxter and Jerry Baxter.
