Obituary for Myrtle M. Nichols
Myrtle M. Nichols, age 87, passed away August 22, 2009. Myrtle was born August 28, 1921 in Council Bluffs, IA to Harley and Stella (Sullivan) Bevington. Myrtle was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church and a Jr. Old Timer with the U.P. Railroad. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband Howard Nichols, Sr., son: Jerry Nichols, grandson: Steve Way, five brothers and two sisters. Myrtle will be sadly missed by her children: Howard Nichols, Jr. and wife Helene, Sharon Way, Roger Nichols and wife Marilyn, Harley Nichols and wife Joyce and Joann Strange and husband John, 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorials:
Memorials to Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

Cemetery:
Private inurnment at a later date in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation:
Memorial visitation will be held 4-5:30 P.M., Thursday at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 29th and Avenue J, Council Bluffs, IA.

Service:
Memorial service will be held 6:00 PM, Thursday at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 29th and Avenue "J", Council Bluffs, IA.
