Obituary for Nancy P. Moreland
Nancy P. Moreland, age 67, passed away July 8, 2010 at her home.
Nancy was born June 7, 1943 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to William and Addie Whittington, but raised by Andrew and Susie Swolley. She work as an executive secretary at assorted businesses and most recent was a bartender in Tabor, IA. Graduated from T.J. High School in 1962. Enjoyed a full life of family and friends. Loved a life of doing crafts especially quilting. An avid movie buff especially westerns. Enjoyed being in the outdoors and researching genealogy.
Nancy was preceded in death by her infant son: James, Jr., sisters: Bessie Messerschmidt, Goldie Richie, Luly Peterson, Zelma Turk, brothers: Bill Whittington, Wallace Whittington, son-in-law: David Ring, step-grandchildren: Ashley Moreland and Nicholas Moreland.
Nancy will be sadly missed by her husband of 26 years, George Butch Moreland, children: Kathleen Ring, James Stockton and wife Lois, Kelly Stockton and significant other David Holland, Michelle Stockton, step-children: Carrie Moreland, Robbie Moreland, Travis Moreland, 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brother Edwin Whittington and wife Nancy, sisters: Elsie Carter, Ellen Blevins and Marylou Bolter, foster daughter Tania Kingery and significant other Robert, special niece Mary Plambeck and husband Terry, special nephew Tom Bolter, ex-husband James Stockton and brother-in-law: Jack Moreland, host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
A special thank you to caregiver Tonya Etherington and Ascera Care Hospice.

Cemetery: Interment to follow at Silver City Cemetery in Silver City, Iowa.
Visitation: Visitation will be held 3-5pm, Sunday, at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home.
Service: Funeral service will be held Monday, 10am at the funeral home.
