Obituary for Natalie K. Jones
Natalie Kay Jones, age 58, Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, with her family at her side.
Natalie was born on February 9, 1963, in Kenmare, North Dakota to Roger and Carole (Erickson) Davick. She attended Thanksgiving Lutheran Church and was a member of the Sons of Norway.
Natalie knew how to make everyone smile. Her love for children made her a favorite as a lunch lady with the Council Bluffs Community Schools. She was a server at both local Village Inn and Olive Garden restaurants, where she took pride in her excellent care of customers. Natalie had a warm and inviting personality, making everyone near her feel at home. She graced family and friends with her positive energy and engaging smile.
Natalie is preceded in death by her father, Roger Davick; step father, Wayne Shea; step mother, Ileta Davick; brother, Rod Poole and former husband, Mark Morse.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Jones; son, Joshua Stuhr; daughter, MiKayla (Dan) Crouch; 2 granddaughters, Charlotte and Ella Crouch; mother, Carole Davick; 5 brothers, Darren (Colleen) Davick, Wayne (Jeanne) Shea, Patrick (Reeva) Bancroft, Greg (Lisa) Poole, Tim (Diane) Poole; 3 sisters, Karen Niblock, Sonia Davick and Sherry (Joel) Duden; former husband, Terry Stuhr; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, many of whom she considered family.
Natalie was a loving and devoted mother. Her children and two grandchildren were her pride and joy.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home, 545 Willow Avenue, Council Bluffs, Iowa followed by a luncheon. A private burial is scheduled for a later date. Memorials may be offered to the American Cancer Society.
