Obituary for Patricia Ann Pedersen
Patricia A. Pedersen, age 75, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 5, 2013 at her home. Pat was born January 10, 1938 in Council Bluffs to Pearly and Wilma (Campbell) Lauver, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the 1956 graduating class of Thomas Jefferson High School. During her lifetime Patricia wore many hats, a wife and mother; she was a book keeper for a gas company, worked at the water works department; employed with Mutual of Omaha; had a grocery store in Crescent; worked at Sutherland Lumber and also with Dr. Kreski in Omaha. She was a member of the Women’s Shrine. Patricia loved to play cards of most any kind and took every opportunity to travel. She was an avid gardener who always had a flower garden be it big or small. In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her daughter Vicki; her first husband Donald Jay; and her brother Dwayne. She is survived by her husband Les Pedersen; sons Leslie Paul Pedersen and Jason David Pedersen; brothers Leslie Lauver and wife Bernice and Frank Lauver; sister Shirley Hiatt; sister-in-law Vickie Lauver; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
