Obituary for Richard T. Wilson
Richard T. Wilson, age 90, passed away October 28, 2009.
Richard was born November 23, 1918 in Columbia Crossroads, PA to Tracy and Lucy (Dillion) Wilson. Richard retired from Mayflower Van Lines in 1980. He also served his country in the Army during WW II from 1942-1945. He also enjoyed history and the outdoors.
Richard was preceded in death by his 1st wife: Victoria Edenburn, 2nd wife: Erma Wilson, son: Ronald Wilson, four stepchildren, and six siblings.
Richard will be sadly missed by his daughter: Barbara Belt and husband Larry, son: Donald Wilson and wife Carolyn, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, 11 stepchildren, numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren, sister Elizabeth Hausman, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Richard was loved by everyone who met him; he loved his family and friends. He loved to tell us stories about his father and mother, brothers and sisters growing up in Pennsylvania. He loved baseball and played professionally before he was sent to Italy in WW II. He will be greatly missed and loved by all of us.

Cemetery:
Interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Woodbine, Iowa with military rites provided by WEISS Post #143.

Visitation:
Visitation will be held 6-8pm, Friday at Maher~Livingston Funeral Home.

Service:
Funeral services will be held 10am, Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Marvin Arnpriester officiating.
