Obituary for Roberta Jean Dotson
Roberta Jean Dotson, age 85 of Council Bluffs, passed away peacefully April 15, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Roberta was born on February 11, 1930 in Stuart, NE to Grant and Naomi (Johnson) Stibor; who preceded her in death. On October 25, 1951, she married Virgil James Dotson and the couple had five children. Aside from raising the family, Roberta worked for Bingo King. In addition to her parents, Roberta is also preceded in death by her husband Virgil; sons James and William Dotson; great-grandchild Justin (Iggy) Larsen. She is survived by her daughters; Sandra Dotson, Cynthia (Cindy) Jo Brooks, and Roxanne Tilford; grandchildren, Joni Morrison, Julie Butler, Jenny Qualls and husband Frank, Heather Waterman and husband Rob, Manuel Dotson and wife Lindsay, Dawn Larsen and husband Tony, and Carrie Schwiesow; eighteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; brother David G. Stibor and wife Judy; aunts Pauline Stidham and Betty Paterno; many nieces and nephews.
