Obituary for Ruby F. Englund
Ruby F. Englund, age 83, passed away May 13, 2009. Ruby was born May 29, 1925 to Owen and Grace (Cartwright) Johnson in Atlantic, Iowa. She grew up in Weston, Iowa and graduated from Underwood High School in 1943. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and Ruths Circle. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Don Englund, her parents, and brother Robert Johnson. Ruby will be sadly missed by her sons: Dan Englund and significant other Patricia Nagel, and Kenny Englund, grandchildren: Alycia (Englund) Swotek, Kenna Englund, Shayne Englund, Yvette Purdue and husband Brian, and Kenneth Englund, 14 great-grandchildren, brothers: Jack Johnson and wife Shirley, and Hayden Englund and wife Anna, sister-in-law: Arlene Johnson, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorials:
Memorials may be directed to the family.

Visitation:
Visitation will be held 6-8pm, Friday at Maher-Livingston Funeral Home.

Service:
Funeral service will be held 10am, Saturday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 600 Bluff St., Council Bluffs, Iowa. Interment to follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs.
