Russell Dean Barnes, 48 of Copiague, New York, passed away June 4, 2010 after a brief illness. Rusty was born in Council Bluffs on March 24, 1962 to Eddie E. and Shirley M (Kady) Barnes who preceded him in death. He was a 1980 graduate of Lewis Central High School and a veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his brother Kenny Gardner; sister Donna Stark, fiance Jeannie Limberg and friend Darlene Barnes.
