Obituary for Ruth H. Friedrichsen
Ruth Hildegaard Friedrichsen, age 91, of Council Bluffs, passed away September 26, 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Home. She was born May 16, 1924 in Westphalia, IA to Mathias and Mary (Baumann) Leuschen; who preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents; Ruth is also preceded in death by her son Greg (Fred) Friedrichsen, brother Joe and wife Irene Leuschen, sister Anna and husband Pete Wilwerding, brother-in-law Francis Schmitz, and sister-in-law Betty Viola and husband Ralph, sister-in-law Sally Leuschen.
Ruth is survived by her husband Don Friedrichsen; daughter Donna Kalar and husband Dr. James, son Kent Friedrichsen, and daughter Joan Friedrichsen; daughter-in-law Marianne Friedrichsen; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister Norma Schmitz and brother Roman Leuschen.
