Teresa Ann (Richardson), 54, passed away Sunday August 30, 2009 after a long courageous battle with ALS at Northcrest Care Center. Teresa was born October 28, 1854 in Council Bluffs to Harry & Kathryn (Truman) Richardson.
She was preceded in death by sister Pamela (Richardson) Buckley, father Harry, maternal grandparents John & Edith (Amick) Truman, paternal grandparents Charles & Grace (Owens) Richardson, 3 nephews and 1 niece.
She is survived by her husband Monte; daughters Georgeen Richardson, Jolene Schroeder; son Monte, Jr. Three granddaughters Ashleigh, Taylor and Jaden; grandson Derrick; mother Kathryn Starkey; brothers Karry Richardson, Randy (Leslie) Richardson and Leroy (Terri) Starkey; sisters Reatha Hebert, Cecilia Rowe and Angela Himes (Dan Kurth). Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She had a special love for her family and will be greatly missed. A special Thank you to the staff at Northcrest that cared so deeply for her and to Hospice of Council Bluffs.

A memorial has been established and condolences can be sent in care of Jolene Schroeder, 3201 Renner Dr, #C1, Council Bluffs, IA 51501.
Per her request her body was cremated and there will be no viewing.

A celebration of her life will take place Saturday September 5th at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church, 224 Wallace Ave., Council Bluffs from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
