Verna Lucille Deal, age 84, of Council Bluffs passed away at her home October 20, 2009. Verna was born September 30, 1925 to Harry and Gudrun (Burg) Stockdale. Verna worked in the healthcare profession as well as raising her beloved family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Gudrun Stockdale, daughter Lori John, grandson Daniel Yohnke and granddaughter Lori Jo John.
Verna is survived by her children; Sandra Sandbothe, Linda Thompson, Peggy Yohnke, Earl Tuttle, Leonard Sandbothe, and Lynette Schmitt, twenty one grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.
