Obituary for Victoria Ellen Janousek
Victoria Ellen Janousek, age 69 of Council Bluffs, passed away November 9, 2017 at Risen Son Christian Village. She was born on August 7, 1948 in Tulsa, OK to J. Sig and Marie (Callahan) Lawson; who preceded her in death. Vickie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was devoted to her faith in God and actively involved at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She was the center of her family and loved by all who knew her with her warm nature and witty sense of humor. She was passionate at serving others as well as worked as a secretary for many years at various places. Vickie and her husband, Dick, loved to travel and spend time with their grandchildren. Vickie is survived by her husband of 48 years Dick Janousek; children Jean Brooks and husband Bret, Pamela Janousek, Stephen Janousek and wife Nataleen, David Janousek; grandchildren Julia, Braden, and Bryan Brooks.
