Obituary for Wilbur A . Jacobson
Wilbur A. Jacobson, age 89, passed away April 16, 2010 at his home.
Wilbur was born February 15, 1921 in Palmer, IA to the late Walter and Ethel (Nelson) Jacobson. He served his country in the U.S. Merchant Marines.
Wilbur was a Jack-of-all-Trades, Master-of-Many. He enjoyed woodworking, rebuilding anything and gardening. Wilbur loved his God, his family and his dogs. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and was active with Meals-On-Wheels.
Wilbur was preceded in death by his daughter Susie Siegrist.
Wilbur will be sadly missed by his wife Mary Alice Jacobson, children: Patty McComas, Carol Richards and husband Chris, Jane Jacobson and husband Matt Birney, Nancy Jacobson, Mary Vraspir, Gail Sorensen and husband Bob, and Edward Jacobson and wife Kelly, 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers Curtis Jacobson and Robert Jacobson, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation: A memorial visitation will be from 10am-11am, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Salem United Methodist Church, 14955 Somerset Ave., Council Bluffs, IA.
Service: A memorial service will be held 11am, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Salem United Methodist Church, 14955 Somerset Ave., Council Bluffs, IA.
