Obituary for William "Bill" E. Murray
William “Bill” E. Murray, age 62, of Council Bluffs, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at University of Nebraska Medical Center from a motorcycle accident.
Bill was born on April 23, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska to William and Bonnie (Weber) Murray.
He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Bill worked in maintenance for the YMCA and the Center, also worked as a welder for Midwest Manufacturing retiring in 2019.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Patrick, Michael and Eric Murray; stepson, Jon Frederiksen.
Bill is survived by daughter, Laeth Murray-Cooper and husband Aaron, of Sherwood, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Murray, of Council Bluffs, Kirk Murray, of Mesquite, Texas, Tyler Murray, of Pensacola, Florida; sister, Kelley Pruett, of Council Bluffs; significant other, Karen Frederiksen, of Council Bluffs; 5 step children; 7 step grandchildren; father, Bill Murray, of Lillian, Alabama; mother, Bonnie Murray, of Council Bluffs.
