Obituary for Ronald Richard Coleman
Ronald (Ron) Richard Coleman, Sr. passed away peacefully late Friday evening on February 17, 2017 at the age of 69.
Ron is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Betty Coleman and brother Thomas Coleman.
Ron was dearly loved by his wife Virginia of 50 years, son Ronald, Jr.; grandchildren Jesse, Trevor and Chelsea; brothers Tim, Mike and Bob; sister Carol and many loyal and caring friends.
Ron was born in Omaha, NE in 1947 and spent most of his life in Council Bluffs, IA. After marrying Virginia in 1966 he dedicated his life to raising their son and starting his own business. Everyone who knew Ron also knew the “Gooch”, his 1970 ½ Chevy Camaro which he religiously raced in Scribner, NE. Neighbors always knew when Ron was home because the windows on their houses would rattle.
There was never a dull moment when it came to Ron, and he will forever be remembered for his lively, loving personality and his passion for fast cars.
