Jim was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 13, 1943. He was a brakeman, conductor, and yardmaster for the Chicago & North Western Railroad from 1967 until the merger with Union Pacific, and retired in 2003. Married to Melanie in 2005, they spent nine very happy years together. He is survived by wife Melanie (Elliott); son Joseph (Dawn), daughters Theresa Szczublewski (Christopher) and Denise; granddaughter Harleah Bergeron (Brandon); great grandchildren Raelyn and Jaiden; sister Antoinette Johnson (Jerold); many cousins and too many wonderful friends to count - all of whom were deeply loved and cherished.
